This afternoon I jumped on the metro and went to Qibao. It’s supposed to be a quaint little water town but I was rather disappointed. I took my cameras with me in the hope that I would find some worthy photo opportunities, but alas, there were none.
I lifted this pic from the web, it’s an example of what I was hoping to see. What I found instead was a bunch of decrepit modern buildings with old roof tiles. The construction looked shabby and the modern materials sucked the soul out of what might have once been a charming part of town.
Glad you found time to do a post. You had me fooled initially, I was going to say what a brilliant photo. So pleased that you are getting out and about.
